We have been going through several transitions culturally and as a church. However, through my recent prayer times with the Lord, He revealed that we are not going through a transition, we’re going through a metamorphosis. Transitioning is a process of going from one season to another, but a metamorphosis isn’t about changing seasons it’s about changing us.
How do I become metamorphosed, you ask? I would like to propose that it entails you changing the way you think.
“So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” -
2 Corinthians 5:16-17
What if we created a culture of new creation? We are learning to recognize each other after our heavenly call, peering into the cocoon of gestation, in anticipation of our metamorphosis.
Hebrews 12:1
says, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.” It isn’t just sins that we are told to throw off, it’s also the encumbrances. It’s time to let go of things that were once helpful and good to grab hold of the future.
The Lord is releasing a Fathering movement that is bringing us back to family and it’s all about beauty.
Isaiah 60
put it this way, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. “Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the hip. Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.”
I invite you to say this blessing over yourself in preparation for this new season:
“I am in the middle of a metamorphosis. I am changing from ugly to beautiful. From weak to strong. From dumb to very smart. I am in this place so that I can display the glory of the Lord. Kings are going to come to see what’s happening in my life because the glory of the Lord is in me, on me, and working through me. And everyone wants to know how to get this for themselves. I bless the kings who are coming with their wealth to see the glory of the Lord rise in the nations. I am not afraid of all the movements that are trying to destroy the earth because I’m part of a kingly, Godly move of God who will turn ugly into beautiful.
