THE WAR OF THE WORLDS

 Kris Vallotton | Jul 22, 2020
There is a war on who gets to shape history. In this podcast, I encourage us to be aware of the authority we have as sons and daughters of God on the earth. God is giving us divine wisdom for heavenly solutions to the world’s problems!

THE WAR OF THE WORLDS PODCAST NOTES

I was introduced to the spirit world at a young age. My mom had psoriasis and I said to the Lord, “If there’s a God, if you heal my mother, I’ll find out who you are and I’ll serve you the rest of my life.” An audible voice replied, “My name is Jesus Christ and you have what you requested.” I woke up and my mom was completely well. About a week later, the voice spoke to me again and said, “I healed your mother, and you said if I healed your mother you would serve Me, and I’m waiting.” I had no idea who God was, I had never read the Bible before.

Some people say God doesn’t do things like that anymore, but I was introduced to God in a supernatural way! I got filled with the Holy Spirit at 18. Kathy and I got married and moved to a small mountain town Lewiston. The Lord told me He would give me that city of 900. The Lord told me to walk and pray, not speaking to anyone. I walked for months, and after 7 to 8 months I settled in and asked the Lord what we were doing. I would pray and the Lord would speak to me and told me what to pray.

After a year, about 25 people came with me on the prayer walk. We walked and prayed, and gathered by a gym. There was something screaming as we prayed. Instead of leaving, we kept praying louder and louder; we were in a spiritual battle in that moment. It finally left. The next day I was invited to lead teenagers on probation at that gym, and I shared about sexual purity. They were profoundly impacted, and for 5 years we ministered to teenagers in that gym. None of this would have happened if we didn’t bind the strong man first.

Our world is in turmoil. Ephesians 2:1-2, “And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.”

There’s a war over who gets to shape history and who gets to be the architect of culture

It’s difficult to solve a first heaven problem that is a symptom of a second heaven attack without getting to the third heaven where I have authority. Many Christians have a theological relationship with the spiritual world, but the reality is they live under the second heaven without realizing the demonic world is trying to destroy us. There is another reality that is influencing the world, and we need to exercise our spiritual authority.

We need the wisdom of Solomon. God didn’t give Solomon a word of knowledge of what the truth was, He gave him divine wisdom. Wisdom is a divine path to the truth.
