- When you’re apart of a prophetic community, it can become easy to assume we know what is going to happen, but with the rearing head of the pandemic, God began to strip away any security I held outside of the source of God alone, just as God led Abraham and Sarah to a land they did not know, “We may not know where we are going but we know who we are with!” (Genesis 12:1).
- God is inviting us to take everything He has given us, all the promises, all the instructions, all the dreams we hold in our hearts, and hold our hands open to Him.
- Just as the family line of Aaron and the prophet Jeremiah were set apart for the Lord, God decides who is anointed and when someone's race is finished or continuing on. We may not be as in control of our future or have as much autonomy and free will as we think! (Numbers 17; Jeremiah 1:4-9)
- God’s Kingdom is different in design-often when you think you are ready, you find that you aren’t. And when you don’t think you are ready, God says you are! This was true for Moses who tried to free the Israelites from slavery and failed. Then 40 years later, God calls him from a burning bush and commissions him into his destiny of deliverance!
Romans 8:28-30, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, in order that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom He predestined He also called, and those whom He called He also justified, and those whom He justified He also glorified.”
Ephesians 2:10, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
God is inviting us to believe Him when He says He causes all things to work together for good. When you feel discouraged, remember the testimonies of your life and your history with God’s goodness and strengthen yourself in the Lord. God will use even the most painful and sorrowful seasons in life to bring us into the palace of His promise.
2 Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
God’s grace is sufficient for you. Keep up the good fight and continue running your race until God reveals the glorious finish line.
